Please Help For Senthil’s Recovery

Donation protected
Greetings everyone. Our names are Babu Chellavelu Sethumuthu and  Madhan Kumar Dhamodaran and we are friends of the victim Mr.Senthil Kumar Thiruvallur Sivasankaran. It started as a very normal day for Senthil like many of us on the 07/12/2019. But it didn’t end like that for him. He got off the bus on Green Tree road (Green Tree/ Arla dr bus stop) on the Friday evening and when he tried to cross the road to get into carriage park apartments, he was hit by a van and thrown on the road for about 15 feet. He was injured pretty badly in the head. In the shock Senthil got seizures and became unconscious.
By birth itself Senthil had a disability where his right leg is a little tilted so he limps while walking. He was rushed to the UPMC Mercy hospital in a critical condition and they performed a CT Scan to make sure there are no clots. CT scan didn’t reveal anything. He was responding to most of the questions but wasn’t aware of what was happening around him. So they performed an MRI Scan and they found some internal bleeding and it caused a clot in the right side of his brain. As a result, his left side of the body isn't responding as effective as his right side of the body. Naturally, he is a left handed person. Since the clot is on the left side of the brain, his dominant side of the body isn't responding to his expectation. Relief is that he doesn't need a surgery. The clot needs to heal on its own.
They kept him in the Intensive Care Unit for a few days to make sure he doesn't get any other injuries and then they transferred him to Neurology. The Neurologists checked him and said that he is ready to be moved to Rehabilitation and they can start the Therapy.
Senthil is still in the hospital and is taking Occupational, Speech and Physical therapies on a daily basis and there is consistent improvement in his health. But still, since the clot is still in healing process he still has  dizziness and drowsiness which sometimes prevents him from responding to the therapy effectively.
He is well determined to complete all his therapies and to get back to his normal life. But, it takes its own time to heal.
Senthil has a wife and a beautiful daughter who is 6 years old and is eager to start her school. They all moved in just about a couple of months ago from India hoping for a brighter future and you can understand how painful it is to go through all this in a different country.
Fortunately Senthil is responding to his therapy in a great way and is determined to get back home soon. But still to handle this financially his family needs your help. Senthil has a high deductible insurance plan, and given that Senthil had moved in just two months ago, and it gets really challenging to take care of his deductible and his copay for the purchase of equipment needed for his full recovery post discharge from the hospital.
We all humbly request you for your generous contributions. How much ever it is, it will definitely be helpful for his family to recover from this challenging situation.
We thank from the bottom of our hearts for all the people who visited the hospital and those who hope and pray for his speedy recovery.
Please share this with your friends and families so that it reaches a wide range of people and in turn increases the donation.

We kindly request you to make your generous contributions for our friend's recovery.
