Help Ship Bella to Europe

Hello, Everyone! As many have heard Bella, our 12 year old daughter, has been invited to go on a trip to Europe through the People to People program to represent the US as a student ambassador. Next summer she has the opportunity to spend two weeks visiting England and France with a group of kids from the Orlando and Daytona area.
Over the next 6 months Bella will be meeting with her fellow travelers getting to know each other and working on projects together to prepare them for this epic journey. The volunteer leaders guiding them on this journey are all local teachers, so education is, of course, the focal point of this trip.
This is a very unique trip. Not only will she get a chance to see the Mona Lisa and ride the London Eye but also meet a member of British Parliament and repel down a castle wall. There is also a community service requirement involved with the program. All in all it's just an amazing opportunity for Bella to see and learn and grow as a person.
The money....
Well as you can imagine this trip is not cheap. People to People has built amazing relationships over seas with all of the places they will be visiting. In an effort to see as much as possible on this short trip her group will not have to wait lines to get into the Louvre or ride on the London Eye. People to People has been sending kids all over the world for 50 years, so they have it all down to science. Of course with benefits like this it's going to cost us.
From the first day Bella received that letter in the mail, as she was bouncing around the house screaming, we made one thing very clear. If she wanted to go, she would have to fund raise. We simply do not have that much extra cash.
She agreed readily and has been eager to get started. We have had one project so far that did not do well but we are pushing on!
Whether you simply give a flat cash donation or participant in one of our other fundraisers, know that Bella is working very hard to earn your support.
