On August 24th, myself, colleagues and the Scunthorpe Samaritans will be coming together to complete the Ironstone Walk.
As the Young Mayor of North Lincolnshire, I have dedicated my time in helping raise awareness of The Scunthorpe Samaritans across our local community, and spreading their message far and wide. Although the work I have done so far around the Samaritans is optimal, I know that there is so much more I can do, which is why I am organising the Ironstone Walk but with a little twist.
I ask that, as a community, we all do our part for the Scunthorpe Samaritans. Even if you are unable to join us for the Ironstone Walk, I encourage you spread their message on social media, or if you have some spare change, why not donate it to the Scunthorpe Samaritans right here? Being able to spare a pound or two can really help make a difference.
If you wish to donate, I have set up this GoFundMe page. The goal has been set, and I hope to reach, if possible, £1000 by August 24th. It is going to be a challenge, and I hope that you can help me in reaching my goal.
All and any donations are greatly appreciated. The Samaritans is a brilliant charity who work around the clock, 24/7, 365 days a year. Their dedication to help others and make a difference is why it is an honour to be supporting The Scunthorpe Samaritans. They do some incredible work, I believe this is a heart-warming way of saying thank you for all the work they do throughout our local area
Again, please donate whatever you can, and if you are able to, do join us on August 24th for the Ironstone Walk!
