A Friend in Need: Martin

**IMPORTANT: Please do not let Martin know about any of this. He doesn't know anything, and we want to surprise him. A card will be made with a list of people who decided to help him out - just so he knows that he's loved by you guys.
The Friend: You may or may not know Martin, but he's a hilarious, goofy, fun-loving guy, and is also a dedicated, hardworking student. He's a great friend, and we wanted to let him know this Christmas/New Years season that we love him a ton. Whether you know him well or are just an acquaintance, we'd greatly appreciate your help in helping out an amazing and encouraging brother in Christ.
The Short Story: Martin was about to fly back to China for winter break. Under unfortunate circumstances, he had to stay at the airport over night. He planned on staying up all night, but needed to use the restroom, so he asked a friend he made to watch his stuff. When he came out, his stuff was gone, but the guy was still there. (The worst part is that this guy was from Stanford!) He reported the theft and took necessary actions to try to find who might have stolen it. However, the tracking on his devices have been turned off, and so as of now, he is missing a lot of important things.
The Items:
Backpack ~$25
Wallet (including cards and IDs) ~$100
Passport ~$100
iPhone 4 ~$500
Laptop Macbook Air ~$1000
(There may have been more items, but this is a rough estimate of what was taken)
How You Can Help: If you could chip in about $10 or so, that would be SUCH a great help.Though this goal says we are reaching toward $1725, we're really just trying to give him something to get started back up again; so maybe he can replace his stolen wallet/money and cover the cost of getting a passport. But if you want to give a little more (seeing that he had his phone and laptop stolen, too), we're sure Martin would greatly appreciate it!
