UPDATE:: INSURANCE WILL NOT COVER DUE TO THIS CASE BEING A MOVEMENT OF EARTH. LITTLE TO NO INSURANCE COMPANIES COVER SUCH DAMAGE. My cousin and her beautiful family just recently bought their gorgeous forever home.. unfortunately do to the most recent storm it has caused part of their home to collapse and the Harris family are unsure if insurance will be covering any damages. Please anything can help! And please share this post as many times as possible! Let’s get those precious babies back into their home ♥️

I have the most beautiful family and friends and even the most beautiful strangers/neighbors that are now friends. Everything that you all have done for us and are continuing to do for us is absolutely amazing. We still do not have final word from the insurance company but it 99.9% will NOT be covered. This horrible event that happened to my family and I is considered “Earth movement” which is NOT covered by just about any insurance company..... With this being said. WE NEED YOUR HELP! Please please please help us. I absolutely hate asking for help but when you need it you don’t have a choice but to ask. Not only does our wall need to be re built but our entire property needs to be excavated. That rough estimate quote was about $16,000. I don’t even know what a wall will cost. A French drainage system needs to be installed at the footers of the house so this NEVER can happen again! We also lost our personal property inside the basement including our brand new washer and dryer, a queen size bed, tools, possibly our brand new furnace, and some other miscellaneous items. You NEVER expect things like this to happen to you until it happens. We are a family of 4 my husband and I work hard for everything we have. We have two beautiful children a 2 month old and a two year old. Not to mention we have lived in our home for 3.5 months. I’m devastated that our home is now inhabitable at this time. Please even just a share of this post can change everything. Thank you everyone and God bless all of these beautiful people who help us. We love you all ❤️
