Help Boston EMTs After Vicious Attack

Donation protected
On Wednesday July 10, 2019, a Boston EMS ambulance staffed with two veteran EMTs was transporting an individual to the hospital. As they approached the hospital, the individual suddenly became aggressive towards the crew. This resulted in serious injuries to the crew: physically, emotionally and mentally. One EMT needed emergent surgery upon arrival to the hospital from the injuries sustained from this attack. Their identity will remain private due to the nature of this heinous crime. BEMSRA in conjunction with BPPA-EMS Division, and Boston EMS Peer Support would appreciate any and all support, and our thoughts are with our crew and their families as they recover from this tragedy.
