My Sisters House Burned Down 100% Lost

“Nightmare” does not even begin to describe what has happened. Yesterday I saw photos posted on Facebook from my niece Jacki of my sister burned down house. I quickly called and talked with my sister Renee and in her shaky panicking voice she described what just happened. Due to a faulty gas main her house and neighbor’s houses caught fire. Though everyone got out safely, most of both houses were destroyed. This loss has been extremely painful, more so since they lost many of the objects that were hand made by her passed husband.On top of this total loss they are still trying to find their kitties Miki and Gracie. She keeps going back to the house and calls their names but hasn’t found them yet. Her mind is still scattered and trying to wrap itself around what has just happened.Thank you to all the first responders who were at the scene! Thank you to all the friends and family who have reached out to check on them. As a family, we are forever grateful for all the outpouring love and support we have received from all of you.Most clothes donations were the wrong size and they had to return them. They need all necessities right now. Insurance is helping a little, but far from the cost of starting over. If you can help with Prayers or Financially or both, it would be most wonderful.
