One Love Cross Country Bike Trip

For those of you who don't know us, Ryan Lukacovic and I (Michael Rhoads) are rising fourth year students and lacrosse players at the University of Virginia. This summer, we are taking a cross country bike trip from Charlottesville to San Francisco, and we realized that this would be a perfect way to raise money for a cause that we are both passionate about.
The One Love Foundation provides education about and resources for those affected by relationship violence, something that 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men are expected to experience in their lifetime. We are hoping to raise a dollar for each mile that the two of us cycle, which comes to $6980 total. 90% of the donations are going directly to the One Love Foundation with 10% going to help fund supplies and gear. Ryan and I and our families are funding the majority of the expenses for this trip so that more proceeds can go to One Love.

We will keep all of our supporters updated throughout our trip through pictures and posts to our page! We are expected to leave May 27th and hopefully arrive in San Francisco approximately 6 weeks.
