Post Trauma Recovery For Kevin ‘KT’ Towns

As you may very well know by now, on Thursday evening, June 20, 2019 while riding my bicycle home from the grocery store, I was struck violently by a motorcycle and now a suspected second motor vehicle. Due to the severity of these injuries it is unlikely that I will be able to return to my work as an Executive Chef in the Yachting industry anytime soon. With your generous donation I am looking to triumph over this tragedy with the same spirit and strength of character that my closest friends and family have grown to love me for. After 10 long days confined to a hospital bed at the complete mercy and vulnerability of hospital staff I await clearance for discharge. It has been daily goals to regain motor function from my toes, fingers, back, and neck just to complete simple tasks like leaning forward, reaching for things and even attempts to walk a few steps along the hallway. With your concern and generosity it would help me tremendously in the ease of my post trauma recovery process.



Injuries include: all requiring 6-7 surgeries

-lacerated aortic valve
-two broken ribs
-collapsed lung
-broken ankle
-multiple compound lower leg fractures
-compound forearm fracture
-broken clavicle
-multiple head contusions
-cranial fracture
