Tackle Cancer For Team Tony

Antonio Martinez (Tony) a devoted husband and loving father of two children went to a medical clinic on Thursday June 13th be. The clinic did a culture and blood analysis and sent him home with some ibruprofen, antibiotics, etc. Friday he was still in pain his wife insisted he go back to the Dr. Saturday morning he went back to the clinic to got the results of his tests. They said his white blood cells were high and he was fighting some kind of infection and referred him to go to a hospital that does not discriminate against not having insurance (his wife just recently switched jobs and will not be offered insurance until 90 days and he is self employed as a car salesman) He and his wife went to the hospital and more tests were ran along with an Ultrasound and CT Scan. June 15th is when he got the devastating news that he has cancer spread throughout his stomach coming from the prostate and will need to be transferred over to a specialty hospital by an ambulance. He was diagnosed with stage 4 metastasis prostate cancer. This form of cancer is very rare and extremely fast growing, is very rare considering his age and very difficult to fight. We are exploring all options including clinical trials. Since entering the hospital and receiving the bad news the doctor informed Tony and his wife that starting treatments will be very expensive without insurance. They are in a very hard place because the hospital will have to send them home after the oncologist gives them the name of the rare cancer and their action of plan. It is probably not going to be curable but being as young and active as you are playing soccer it can prolong your life. Those who know Tony would vouch for him being the most loyal of friends (he had friends everywhere he went (never knew one stranger), a caring hard working family man. While Tony is going to be going through this treatment he is going to have to rely on his wife for financial support which she will need support. He needs the support, prayers, and funds to help him and his family through these rough days ahead. We are requesting funds as soon as possible to help with all aspects of his treatment and to help support his two children and wife. Since his diagnosis he’s had a surgical biopsy done on his bone and is going to have undergo aggressive chemotherapy and radiation treatments. This is why we are asking for funds so he can get the proper care to spare his young life and also be there for his children, family, and wife. This sudden diagnosis has been devastating to Tony, his family, and friends. Tony will need round the clock supervision and expensive therapy sessions.
