Season's Greetings!
As we enter another holiday season, we often reflect upon the many blessings we have received throughout the year and those who have been a blessing in our lives. I am happy to announce that my 2012 " blessings" list includes acceptance into the Leadership California program http://www.leadershipcalifornia.org/i4a/pages/index.cfm?pageid=1 which focuses on advancing the leadership role women play in impacting business, social issues and public policy in California. I am truly honored to be considered one of California's best and brightest future women leaders! But like so many others, in addition to counting my blessings, the holiday season inspires me to open my heart to see how I can in turn be a blessing to others. This is why I am contacting you. You are a person who has definitely been a blessing in my life and I would like to offer an opportunity to be a blessing back to you! For the months of December and January, I am dedicating myself to serving others and am particularly interested in volunteering for a non-profit organization of your choice or simply helping you in any way I can. Perhaps you need a few gifts wrapped or holiday entertainng ideas. Did you volunteer for an activity and need someone to go in your place? I am hopeful that there is some way I can be a blessing to you this holiday season.
I have decided to use the cost for the Leadership California Program as a guide for efforts. The cost of the program is $5,000 so I am offering 1 hour of service for every $100 of cost which means I am donating a total of up 50 hours to be blessing over the next two months! If you are so inspired and prefer to just make a donation to help me reach my goal, any amount is welcomed and certainly appreciated! All donations will be used towards the cost of my tuition for the Leadership California program.
