School Meals for High School Students

Hi My name is Nancy Bell and I am the founder of Mayor Potencial. We are a 100% volunteer-run 501C3 non-profit organization. This means every dollar donated goes directly to our project and to those that need it the most. Please remember that GoFundMe/paypal do charge fees that they deduct.
Our organization is currently raising funds to build a high school for the children in the rural village of El Rodeito. We are in Phase two! We raised 15,000 to build the walls, roof, and the foundation of the school's 3 classrooms.
Last year, the children were eager to attend school and rather than lose a school year they worked with the church. The 7th graders were allowed to use the church for a full day of classes. As of today, we have 50 students attending!!
Here is were I need your help, since the school is not 100% completed, the government is not required to help provide meals. TOGETHER we can help! Did you know that for 0.455 cents a day you could provide ONE basic meal for ONE kid. So in one week you could provide ONE meal for one kid once a day for 5 school days for $2.275 or in one month $9.10 per child.
Together, we can raise $455 a month to provide ONE Meal per day for 20 days for the 50 kids.
Breakdown of the cost of $455/month :
$400/month to provide food for 50 kids 5 times a week ( ONCE a day).
$35 for the costs of transportation to the city to purchase food. Due to the drought the farmers in the village and nearby areas are not in a position to sell food, as they are barely producing enough food to feed their families.
$9.99 for the money-gram fee to send the funds to the community.
$ 10.00 ( estimate on fees) GoFundMe has no platform fee. HOWEVER, we must pay for paypal to accept credit cards here. That is 2.9% per transaction, plus 0.30 per transaction.
In Honduras, the school year is Feb-Nov. We need to act fast to ensure the children can continue their education!
