Joshua's Medical Fund

Our 6 year old son Joshua was diagnosed with P.A.N.D.A.S ( Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorder Associated with Strep). Our family traveled from Canada to the United States (Brooklyn NY) to see Dr Shulman she had diagnosed Joshua with P.A.N.D.A.S and started him on treatment. For the past two years our son has been suffering with this disorder. We are raising funds for Joshua for his current treatment as well as for IVIG ( Intervenous immunoglobulins). IVIG is a very effective method of treating autoimmune disorders such as P.A.N.D.A.S it will give Joshua a good chance at recovering. IVIG is a very costly treatment it's cost is $1,000 per 10lbs of body weight. Currently to treat our son we are looking at slightly over $5,000 for one round of treatment he may require additional treatments. We are also raising funds for travel expenses. Our families hopes are to raise enough funds to get Joshua all the medical treatments and travel expenses required to make him a healthy happy little boy who can once again return to normal childhood and return back to school.
