Tyson Johnson Family Fund

With permission from the Johnson family, an official donation page has been set up in Tyson’s honor.

On May 17, 2019 our husband, father, son and brother, Tyson Johnson, passed away unexpectedly. Tyson was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved his wife of 18 years, Jenny, and their son, 4-year-old Colby.

Tyson has been one of the most kind and loving men we have ever met. He embraced everyone like he did life, with kindness and vigor.

We truly have lost our loving brother to heaven. We only hope and pray that he is finding bigger potholes to fish in than ever before and that the caribou have racks as big as the sky.

In a recent email to family, Tyson captured his reflections on life “For us, much of our spirituality is found in the outdoors where we often discuss how grateful we are to be part of the bigger picture.”

A Celebration of Life will be held at Settlers Bay Lodge, 5801 South Knik Goose Bay Rd, Wasillla AK at 4pm Thursday May 23rd.

There will be further information about a Celebration of Life in Reno, NV shortly thereafter.

One hundred percent of the donations will go to Jen and Colby to support them through this transition in life.
