Paying Tribute to Rosa Hilda Martinez de Leon

On May 15th, 2019, my precious mother Rosa Hilda Martinez tragically lost her life in a senseless act of domestic violence. Rosa was truly an angel of love and light that brought pure joy and laughter to the lives of anyone who knew her. Everyone who she came across left feeling loved and supported.
Rosa adored and was all about her family. She was a loving mother of 4, a daughter, and a sister to anyone she considered a friend. Her gentle spirit, warm heart, and angelic personality attracted anyone who came into contact with her. She was a hardworking and devoted super-mom and loving daughter who focused on building a happy and safe life for her family.
It still feels unreal to have lost such a bright light in this world. She believed in valuing those who love and are there for you because, without them, nothing would be the same. Our family is still processing and grieving her passing and although we are all grieving the untimely death of our precious angel Rosa, we must focus on the most important people in her life. Rosa’s younger children: Emilio (17), Andrea (12) and Shania (6) were under her care at the time of her death. She was also the sole provider for her elderly mother Rosa Nancy.
We’ve set up this Go Fund Me page to assist our family in their time of need. If you’d like to help our family and honor our mom’s memory, we ask that you donate whatever your heart desires and what you can at this moment. The funds raised will be used to provide financial assistance to the biggest priorities in her life - her mother and young children. We’ll also be using the money raised to take care of any financial obligations that are left behind following this incident. I, Yudy, will be exclusively managing this account to ensure my siblings and grandmother are covered with the money raised during this difficult time.
