Cure For Cali

Donation protected
A few years ago we suffered the loss of our English bulldog, who passed from cancer. We were devastated of the loss of our childhood pup. Living around the house without a dog was very odd, and it seemed wrong. Recently we came across the adoption of a 9month old English Mastiff. She was spayed, had all her shots, and was in good health. We went through with the adoption and brought home Cali, our 9 month old mush. She was super great and is such a lovable pup. Now, she is 2 1/2 years old. About two weeks ago we noticed bloating in her abdomen. We thought it was just air from eating to fast, and then it went away. A few days ago it came back worse, and she was showing signs of discomfort. We took her to the emergency vet and they extracted 7 liters of fluid from her abdomen and chest cavity. They wanted to conduct more testing, which we could not afford and also is a lot to put your dog through. We only were able to do half the testing, and took her to the regular vet a day later. They told us that she has a bad heart, and may have some sort of heart disease, so we kept our hopes up. We were just informed today May 7th that her heart is failing. She has been Diagnosed with congestive heart failure. The top part of her heart isn’t working properly l, which is creating fluid build up in her chest and abdomen. She needs life saving surgery that will cost way more then we could afford. Please, understand that my family considers animals part of the family, not just a dog or cat. Cali is part of our family, and isn’t close to aging at all. Please help spread the word, anything and Anyone will help!
