Memorial Fund For Santiago DelBosque Jr.

My name is Leslie Aguilar, I am Santiago DelBosque Jr. aka Jr.’s niece. Jr. was 33 years old. A loving father of a 4 year old little girl. He was a father, son, brother, uncle, grandson, cousin of his family who loved him dearly. He loved life, fast cars, and most importantly his little girl Keira June. On April 20,2019 my uncle was threatened and then assaulted by 2-3 guys in Robstown, Texas where he lived 1 block from his home. He was taken to the hospital in Robstown after he started having seizures. After they assessed him and found that he had a head injury and his brain had bleeding and swelling they could not stabilize him they had him transferred to Bay Area Heart Hospital in Corpus Christi,Texas. They got him stabilized, did Ct Scan and tests and found out he had 2 blood clots on each side of his brain. One was the size of a large marble and the other was the size of a regular marble. He was doing ok and then took a turn for the worst. His brain started bleeding and swelling again and had to have emergency surgery to release the pressure. We were told by the trauma dr. his chances were not good. He made it through the surgery but never woke up. The bleeding and swelling continued. We continued to pray hoping for a miracle. The Dr.s did many tests for a few days, he was unresponsive to all tests for 2 days . On Friday April 26, 2019 they did a final test to see if there was blood flow to the brain after hours of waiting for the results. They pronounced him legally Braindead. He had no insurance. Our family needs help with funeral expenses. Donations of any kind will be greatly appreciated. Anything will help. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.
