Stanford Summer Program; My Dream!

Hi! My name is Laney Terrell. I'm a huge nerd and my dream is to go to Stanford or U.C. Berkeley for a degree in Political Science (minor in Sociology). Crazy enough, my dream may be closer to reality than I could have ever expected. I spend up to 6 hours a day on my academics, as I am homeschooled through Visions in Education. I have been invited to a summer program at Stanford University! It's a program in Intensive Law and Trial. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and I am so so grateful and elated that all my hard work has paid off in recognition. The program has simulated trials and intense training from Stanford Professors! This could help me learn more about law and the interworkings of our government, an extremely important asset to any political figure, as I wish to someday be a Senator of California. Perhaps someday, my dreams will stretch further and I will achieve my ultimate dream -- President of the United States of America! This is an incredible opportunity for me. Any donation is incredibly appreciated and I could not be more grateful for help. My family is currently struggling financially and we do not have the extra funds to send me as is. Donations will go towards the tuition for the program, transportation, and extra funds will be used for cultural enrichment. Thank you so much.
