Melba is a Manx kitty (these are cats bred to have no tail) and as often is the case with these types of kitties, she has developed fecal and urine incontinence as well as anal prolapse. But Melba is a playful, happy and feisty baby of 8 weeks old who is ready to live out the rest of her life!! She loves to climb, run and torment her sister with her antics.Melba just received critical  surgery last night to fix her prolapse as well as a procedure to clear her colon of a serious back up of feces! Luckily she did great and is recovering well!! When bluehousefosters reached out to the kitten community for help with Melba we immediately knew that we wanted to be there for them!We couldn’t bear to split the sisters up and so of course we will be taking them both in and making sure that Melba gets the care she needs and Pip is there to help her grow big and strong like a big sister would.With a new start in life comes a new name and with her old foster mom’s blessing we’ve decided to name her Rain short for Rainbow Recently most of you know I lost my baby boy Glory! He was so special to me and was my baby! ! When a mother loses a baby they say that the baby born after that loss is their rainbow baby! Rain is my Rainbow baby! I am so excited to take these two beautiful sisters in to my home & give them everything they could ever want or need!! These two will be truly loved!! Rain is my Rainbow baby! When Rain’s medical condition is more figured out & she is doing well enough she will be spayed! Then her & her sister Pip will be looking for a special FURRever Home! Until then these two beautiful babies will remain with me being spoiled as ever! We will need some help though!
