Homeless Veteran In Knoxville TN
I am a Veteran of the USAF who has become homeless in Knoxville TN due to unforeseen circumstances. I am very sick and disabled with SLE(Systemic Lupus Erythematosus), that causes other health issues that I do have such as, Hypercoagulative Blood Disorder, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Multiple Joint Osteoarthritis, and etc. I also have mental health problems such as Major Depression Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder. I recently became homeless because my daughter could not house me any longer because of her apartment rules here in TN. I miss my 4 grandsons and my children too. They are unable to help me due to their sizes of their families. I understand this and have been wandering around downtown Knoxville aimlessly to stay alert, sleep that I get is on the free trolley ride's during the day. Eating is virtually non existent due to no money. I was told to start this GoFundMe page and I didn't want to because I have my pride. I was taught discipline in the military and always worked for what I have. Now I have next to nothing because I can't and won't carry around clothing because of thieves. Knoxville Tennessee is very bad to be in a homeless position. I used to think Knoxville was a nice City but it is not because of the drug addicts and thieves. I have my medical records, military records and all my IDs for whatever I need to do with them for necessity. Tennessee is not a state you want to be homeless in. I am hoping to make enough money for a ticket back to NY State. I would be grateful for the help anyone could provide me with. I would definitely love to be able to sleep in a bed for one night and be able to take a nice hot shower! Also to do my laundry since I am not able to change clothes because they are all dirty anyway. It does seem to me like this state does not care for its sick and disabled citizens. It's a real shame. Very corrupt City of Knoxville.I appreciate all of you who took the time to read this and those of you who have helped and future people who can help if they can. Thank you all and God bless America and all of you. Sincerely, Scott Lutzyk.
