Sweet Olivia

Hi ~ Kevin and I are the parents of a beautiful 4 month old daughter, Olivia Louise Reardon. Olivia was born 10 weeks early. She was in the NICU for almost 2 months when we discovered that she needed heart surgery for a double aortic arch (vascular ring) that was wrapped around her trachea and esophagus. Her surgery was successful and we finally got to take Olivia home at almost 3 months old! Three weeks later, we were back in the hospital due to her developing bronchitis. After a week in the PICU we got to come back home. Now, a month later, we are back in the PICU due to Olivia developing pneumonia. She is currently on a breathing tube; the upper chamber of her right lung is collapsed. She has been partially paralyzed to allow for the ventilator to breathe for her and allow her lungs to heal.



As any parent could imagine, seeing your child connected to so many machines is heart-wrenching, not to mention not being able to hold and love on your baby.



We aren't the type of people who typically ask for help so it took a lot to create this donation page. We had to swallow our pride and really put Olivia and her needs first and foremost. We joined this site to hopefully get financial support for our medical expenses. As anyone can imagine, we are over our head with medical debt (our 5th hospital stay) and do not see an end in sight.
