As I’m writing this, I am truly not sure where to begin. I have lived next door to the Heintzelman’s for the past 13 years. Blake, Caden, Gianna and I have spent every summer and almost every day after school together since they moved in. Last week Matt Heintzelman suddenly passed away leaving my closest friends fatherless. It’s challenging for my family and I to witness such wonderful people endure this loss, along with loosing the primary wage earner of their family. Our tight knit neighborhood will never be the same without him. Matt was a father figure to all of us. This tragedy was very unexpected, no family could ever be prepared for anything like this. Life isn’t always the kindest. Life takes the best of us to make the rest of us stronger. My goal for this GoFundMe is to relieve any financial stress they have and allow the family to properly grieve the death of their father. My family and I have hopes of seeing their two boys continuing their fathers love of baseball. And their young daughters love of dance.
