Let Children Speak / Da Varese a Kathmandu

Ciao! Siamo Chiara e Andrea, abbiamo 22 anni e veniamo da Varese. Il progetto “Let children speak” nasce nel 2018. Avevamo in programma da tempo di lasciare l’Italia per qualche mese, e cercavamo una soluzione grazie alla quale potessimo dare un aiuto concreto utilizzando le nostre abilità. Alla fine abbiamo deciso di unire ciò che sappiamo fare meglio e che amiamo di più: la scrittura creativa e la fotografia.Negli ultimi mesi abbiamo raccolto alcune macchine fotografiche usate che potessimo portare in Nepal e che potessimo lasciare ai bambini della casa famiglia Horac una volta tornati in Italia.Ciò che vogliamo fare è insegnare ai bambini a scattare foto di ciò che vedono e a creare storie usando la loro immaginazione. Siamo molto curiosi di scoprire cosa ne verrà fuori, e pensiamo che questo progetto potrebbe donare anche a noi un nuovo modo di vedere il mondo, cambiando anche le nostre vite.Partiremo per il Nepal il 30 aprile e torneremo in Italia il 14 luglio. Prima di partire, avvieremo una campagna Crowdfunding. La nostra intenzione è quella di raccogliere abbastanza soldi per pubblicare i libri contenenti le storie che i bambini creeranno. Grazie alla campagna Crowdfunding, non dovremo trattenere parte del ricavato quando venderemo i libri, e potremo donare a Horac il 100% del ricavato.Per realizzare tutto questo, abbiamo bisogno dell’aiuto di tutti: ci puoi aiutare con una donazione alla campagna, condividendo il nostro progetto sui social o parlandone con la tua famiglia e i tuoi amici, e infine comprando il libro una volta stampato.Hi! We are Chiara and Andrea , we are 22 years old and we come from Norh of Italy. Our project “Let children speak” was born in 2018. We were planning to leave Italy for some months since a lot of time, and we were searching for a solution for which we could really give a concrete help by using our abilities. In the end, we decided to put together what we can do better and we like more: creative writing and photography.In the last months we collected some second-hand cameras we could bring in Nepal with us and we could leave to the children of the orphanage called Horac after our return in Italy.What we want to do is to teach children to take pictures of what they see and creating stories using their imagination. We are really curious to see what will come out of their mind, and we think they may give us a new way to see the world, changing our lives too.We are leaving for Nepal on the 30th of April and we are coming back to Italy on 14th of July. Before leaving, we’ll start a Crowdfunding campaign. Our aim is to collect enough money to be able to publish the books containing the stories that the children themselves are gonna create. By doing a Crowdfunding campaign, we won’t need to hold back money when we sell the books, so that we can give the proceeds 100% to Horac.To realise this, we need the help of everybody: you can help us by donating some money to our campaign, by sharing our project on the social or even by talking about us with your family or friends and by buying the book when it will be ready.
