Mom's Funeral Services

Our hearts were broken but Heaven welcomed another angel on Monday, November the 19th, when Margaret Dominguez Angulo lost her hard fought battle with cancer due to serious  complications during emergency surgery.

Margaret was diagnosed with Diabetes in 1990. In 2002, she was diagnosed with Liver cancer. In 2003, surgery was performed to remove as much of the cancer as possible and stabilize the tumor growths. Mom overcame the obstacles set before her and continued to strut through life with graceful determination and relentless vigor. On October 29th 2012 Margaret faced an open heart quadruple bypass surgery, which she successfully overcame against all odds. In recovery, despite good days and bad ones, Margaret began to walk again and began rehabilitation on her long road to recovery.

In a sudden turn of events, on Monday November 19th, Mom underwent exploratory surgery to correct digestion issues that had been troubling her body since the last operation. After a solid flat line the determined staff of USC Medical was able to resuscitate her, but after a second attempt was unsuccessful - we had to submit to the inevitable.

Margaret was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother and friend whose enormous heart and endless love touched all of those who she came to connect with. Her presence will be forever felt and the memories we shared with her will be cherished until we meet again.

Margaret is survived by her Son, Joseph Cruz Angulo, Grandson Valentin Joseph Angulo, Daughter-in-law Jessica Renee Arias, Sisters Lupita Dominguez and Connie Dominguez. Brothers Fidel Dominguez and Cruz Dominguez.
