Help George Rebuild His Home After Sandy

Your contribution will go directly to George who lost everything he owns from extensive flooding.

As many as 60 million people were affected by Sandy, and thousands have been displaced from their homes.  George, who greets us with the biggest smile at the elevator every day when we arrive at work, lost all of his possessions when Sandy's surges flooded, and nearly destroyed his home in Howard Beach"”including all his furniture, appliances, clothing, and his car.

Because flood insurance is not offered in coastal Brooklyn, George doesn't have coverage for the damage, but we can help him to get back on his feet by coming together to raise funds and maybe makeup for some of what he lost in the storm.

Please donate any amount that you can to help our friend George.  He's estimated the cost of the damage done, and we've set our goal accordingly.

With our collective efforts, we hope that George will be able to move back into his home soon.
