My 40/40 Goal: United Hearts School Fund

The children in this photo are part of the wonderful family of 26 living at the United Hearts Orphanage in Bawjaise, Ghana.  This past summer I had the chance to spend time with these amazing souls!  They were constantly smiling, laughing and dancing.  The experience gave me the opportunity to deeply connect with and live out my core values:  Connection, Contribution and Growth. 

Now that I'm back, the mission continues.  To connect with all of you in making a significant contribution to these children that will result in their ongoing personal growth and development as educated and empowered young adults.

The goal is to raise $40,000 in my 40th year (yes - I turned 40 this year!).  The money raised will help support the build of the school at the United Hearts orphanage.  It will be built on the same property and have the capacity to serve 250 children in the community. The school building will have classrooms to accommodate children from kindergarten up to grade 6, and also provide daycare for smaller children.
