Send a Biology Student to the Galapagos!

Before I go, however, I have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, in May 2013, to visit the Galapagos Islands with one of my favorite professors, Dr. Cynthia Church. This isn't a vacation, it is a unique college course where we will be exploring evolution, biodiversity, conservation, and so much more! I think it is the perfect way to wrap up a biology degree. I may never again have the opportunity for an experience like this. 

In addition to visiting the islands, I also have an opportunity to spend 5 days in the Ecuadorian rain forest. There I will be able to see the biodiversity of the jungle, and hopefully, some amazing insects (my passion in life!). 

The cost of this trip is more than I can pay for on my own. As a student, money is tight, even with financial aid. I go to school and work and sometimes it is difficult to make enough money to cover much more than my rent and heat. 

With the money I raise here I will be able to purchase airfare, and pay for the course materials, tuition, and my share of room and board, plus entrance fees to national parks. It's an exciting opportunity, and I appreciate your donations. Thanks so much!
