TWU Nursing Class of 2013 Pinining Ceremony

The Texas Woman's University-Houston College of Nursing Class of 2013 needs your help!

The TWU College of Nursing Class of 2013 is making plans for graduation!  As part of the celebration, we will be hosting the annual pinning ceremony for the graduates and their families.  This pinning ceremony will be a symbolic welcoming of newly graduated nurses into the prestigious nursing profession.  In addition to a meal and keynote speaker, our new nurses will be presented with nursing pins by the faculty of the nursing school or a friend/family member that has supported them along their academic path to excellence.

The Pinning Ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 1:00 pm in Sugar Land, Texas.  Without the help of the school, the burden of funding this annual ceremony falls on the shoulders of students.   We are currently working hard to raise funds on our behalf but we certainly need help to fund this ceremony. 

A large part of the success of this event is credited largely to our family, friends, co-workers and church members who lend their time, prayers and financial support!  By participating as a sponsor, you will be a direct supporter of this time-honored, nursing tradition.  Funds donated will go toward the class pins that each nursing student will receive and a Florence Nightingale lamp, given to each student as a tribute to the founder of the art of nursing.  Monies donated will also go toward venue rental, decorations, printing and publications, speaker retainer fees and catering.  All funds donated will go directly to the planning and implementation of the TWU College of Nursing Class of 2013 pinning ceremony.
