Baby Elliott's Death & Raymond's Paralysis

The Myers Family has been through so much in 4 months.  My best friend Desiree's husband Raymond was paralyzed in June.  He spent two months in the hospital and is now a paraplegic.  Less than three months later their  20 month old baby Elliott died unexpectedly.  The picture above was taken about a month before Raymond was paralyzed, and about three months before Elliott died.  As if this wasn't enough, Desiree spent two days in the ICU last weekend because of a rare infection, and she is the only one in the family who doesn't have insurance.  Raymond is needing to sell his truck because it is a stick shift.  Raymond plans to continue helping his disabled veterans as soon as he has the equipment to do it.  He does woodworking, and free labor for any disabled veteran or their family.  It is his desire to do whatever possible still, even though he now finds himself in a wheelchair.  The family is needing funds to pay for a headstone for Elliott, medical expenses, and equipment to allow Raymond to help the vets!
