Phil Smith & Coney Cinco Need Your Help

Dear Friends and Family,

Earlier this year, Phil Smith was diagnosed with Peripheral T-Cell Lymphoma, Not Otherwise Specified (PTCL, NOS), a rare and aggressive lymphoma whose prognosis is consistently poor.

Phil has been undergoing treatment at Memorial Sloan-Kettering for many months and he has taken a turn for the worse. He has not responded well to any of the courses of chemotherapy, and his condition has declined considerably in recent weeks.

The oncology team is trying one final course of a new chemotherapy drug as a final effort. 

Throughout this process Phil has never lost his unique sense of humor and maintains a positive and fighting spirit. 

Phil is no longer medically stable. Coney, his wife, is taking an unpaid leave of absence from work to be by his side. He is sleeping most of the time, and has fewer and fewer lucid moments.

We've put together this site for them as a way to raise money for considerable expenses that they are incurring. Phil and Coney are so grateful for all the support you have been giving them through this ordeal. I know we all wish we could do more.
