Anne-Monique's car accident.

To all concerning our daughter Anne-Monique's near fatal car accident,

Here is a link that basically explains it and also shows my daughter's vehicle.

She was the passenger and my Son was driving her car. It states that there were two females in the vehicle. That's incorrect; my son is the second person driving the vehicle. Further South of my daughter's accident is the first accident. As a result of that accident, traffic backed up very quickly and my Son came up and over a blind hill and a 18-wheeler tractor trailer rig was literally parked in the middle of the road. The rest is history as they say.

My daughter has a right temple fracture/impact. Four broken ribs right side. Left collapsed lung. Right collar bone broken. Right clavicle/socket bone broken. Puncture wound right lower jaw, and a few other minor injuries. Tubes in both lungs. E.E.G., a breathing tube/respirator, pressure bolt in her head to measure brain pressure, and a very wide variety of other wires and tubes hook up to her that I never thought even existed, only in sci-fi movies. The main concern is the bleeding in the front right temple area. That has stopped, but then very early Monday morning her brain started to swell tremendously to the point that the medicine to reduce the swelling did not work so they had to cut a 6" x 6" section of her left skull out to relieve the pressure. That has helped tremendously, but she is still in a medicated induce coma until this Friday or Saturday to give the brain a rest and time to heal to reduce the swelling. Once she is off of that and hopefully she is able to regain consciousness, we then can determine her motor functions, what she can and can't do. Clearly she will be in ICU for several weeks. We are differently in this for the long haul. My Son Jeff only suffered a right fractured rib, but of course he is suffering mentally because he was driving the vehicle and is doing the blame game on himself. We are working with him on that issue.

A "savings/trust fund" has been setup for Anne-Monique. You can go into any Wells Fargo bank/branch to make a deposit. Here is the account #3447129820. It is setup for her and only her. Such things like for her college when she goes back to S.U.U. or any medical needs that the insurance does not cover. We greatly appreciate any and all help, prayers, posts, and visits. Thanks again for all of your support!

You can also contact me @ [phone redacted]. Also please "friend" me on Facebook. (Robert Dubro).

We are very hopeful and optimistic that my daughter will come through, but still, your thoughts and prayers will be greatly appreciated.
