Make a difference "We Need Your Help"
To all including my friends and family please read this message.My brother Tony needs your HELP. Tony was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma (Bone Cancer) last July of 2011. He was being treated at Sloan in NY and received treatment which included chemotherapy, and had major surgery. He had 6in of his femur replaced with a titanium rod and had a hip replacement. The surgery was a success and was cancer free for approx. six months. Unfortunately, The tumor returned more aggressive than before in March of this year. Tony went back to Sloan and recieved more chemo and radiation. The treatment did not go as planned and so early this past month in October the team at Sloan informed us that they no longer can do anything for my brother. Our family has NOT given up in this battle with cancer, but we need everyone's help. We have reached out to other Doctors all over the country and are trying to raise money to cover Medical expenses so he can recieve an alternative treatment. We have been informed by Columbia Pres Hosp. in NY that they can help my brother. Due to this devistating storm we had this week we had to wait till this week to see the doctor at Columbia Pres. We are all praying for Tony and wish him the very best. My family and I are not giving up and we are going to continue to seek help for my brother. I would like to thank everyone for your donations and prayers. I will keep everyone updated as we go along this journey together with Tony. So I ask please any donations will help and my family and I would greatly appreciate it, but most importantly please help us spread the word and please keep my brother in your prayers and hearts. Por favor necesitamos su ayuda. Lo único que pido es que por favor lee este mensaje hasta el final. Mi hermano Tony fue diagnosticado con Sarcoma de Ewing (cáncer de hueso) de julio de 2011. Desde entonces ha recibido tratamiento que incluyó quimioterapia, radiación y un reemplazo de cadera. Después de seis meses estaba libre de cáncer, pero tres meses más tarde el cáncer regresó más agresivo que antes. Hoy se está extendiendo el cáncer y los médicos nos informaron que ya no pueden tratar a Tony. Nuestra familia no ha renunciado en esta batalla contra el cáncer, pero necesitamos la ayuda de todos. Nos han llegado a otros médicos en todo el país y están tratando de recaudar dinero para cubrir gastos médicos, así como le envían a Texas para ver a un médico que ofrece tratamiento alternativo que pueda curar a mi hermano. Cualquier donación ayudará y mi familia y yo se lo agradeceria mucho, pero lo más importante por favor nos ayudan a difundir la palabra y tenga a mi hermano en sus oraciones y corazones.
