Anyone that knows my brother knows what an amazing person he is. We are making this gofundme to support Christopher Arendt financially while he is facing some of the hardest trials of his life.It doesn't matter how hard you struggle, the bills will keep rolling in. Christopher is my brother and my best friend, I can't stand to see him struggle with all of this. Money should be the least of concerns when fighting for your life.
Christopher was born with a lung disease called Cystic Fibrosis. This has affected all aspects of his life, literally since the day he was born. I remember a countless number of doctor visits, hospitalizations and IV’s, blood draws, and a LOT of coughing. This has been a difficult year for Christopher; after months fostering an amazing pair of little girls, he has been disconnected from disability SSI and is now facing issues with his kidneys.
Life is very short, and for my brother it has been very hard, but very fun. He is a gentle soul, who is ferociously funny, and loves everyone truly and deeply. Not one person on Earth deserves the hand that my brother has been dealt, but he handles it all with charm and dignity. Instead of having bitterness about his situation, he thanks God for every day he is given. We never know what tomorrow might bring.
I have wanted to set up an account for him for ages, and because he doesn’t want to burden others with his problems, he would never let me. However, his health is deteriorating and the financial stress isn’t helping at all. Kimberly has had to miss a large amount of work, and Christopher isn’t capable of working while he is in the hospital. He has always tried to keep a full time job so they could try to stay above the poverty level and this has taken a toll on his health as well. Not to mention the cost of driving back and forth to Dallas for doctor visits. Times are hard. I’m asking for those that can, to give to him because no one deserves all that he has had to endure. He needs our help, and unfortunately this is all I can do from so far away. Thank you all so much in advance for giving what you can, and even if you can’t give he needs all the prayers he can get, and please share if you’re able.
