Heather's 18.5 fund

Heather has the patience to listen to people complain about their insignifigant problems, or as I like to call them "white people problems", for hours on end.  She actually listens and tries to help.  That's one of the reasons she has so many more friends than I do.  I have had people from all over the country tell me that they want to do something to help.  That's why I am setting up this fund.  From what I can gather this type of thing can get a little expensive.  And to top it all off, she told me today that she has a spaceship now.  The upkeep on something like that has to be through the roof.  The 18.5 in the name comes from her answer to a doctors question as to whether she knew where she was.  Her answer was "halfway between 17 and 20".  In retrospect I feel kind of bad for making fun of something stupid my wife said after major brain surgery.  But it is what it is.  To all of you who donate and have already donated I sincerely appreciate it.  I don't have the time to write thank you letters but be assured that the generosity of our friends and family has made me cry like a little girl.  Once.
