Travis Tucker Memorial Fund
Travis Tucker joined the Marine Corps on March 19th, 2001. He served proudly for over ten years until he was honorably discharged on May 15th, 2012. Travis had so many incredible experiences while serving, including meeting his wife while deployed in Japan, traveling the world and touching the lives of anyone lucky enough to know him. Travis charmed us with his carissma and and lit up the room with his smile.
On October 6th we lost this great man due to a tragic motorcycle accident. Travis is survived by his parents, wife, two children and hundreds of US Marines that are proud to call him their brother.
The loss of this young man is so devasting to his family and friends. Since Travis was no longer active duty there was not a life insurance policy in tact. Travis' policy expired 120 days after being released from the Corps and the accident took place 144 days later meaning there are no benefits to help his family cover the expenses.
Travis was a great friend and like a brother to me. I can go on forever talking about how wonderful of a person he was and how loyal of friend he was. I am now asking that we do the right thing and give whatever we can for his family. Anyone that knows Travis knows that he would do the same for us.
