hi guys, we’re restarting this GoFundMe account. I apologize the other one is inactive due to the fact while trying to get everything connected well somehow it was accidentally deleted and was not able to be brought back. So anyone that has donated to Beating Hearts Rescue this is the continuation of that website to be able to donate..
If you don’t know who I am, I’m Jessica and I run Beating Hearts Rescue with my two girls that are 11 years old Morgan and Shelby.
This is a local nonprofit 501 (c)3 neonatal kitten /animal rescue here in Marana az .
Our mission for Beating Hearts ❤️❤️is to rescue rehabilitate and rehome, abandoned, abused, neglected animals. ❤️❤️
We at Beating Hearts, believe that every beating heart deserves a chance at a loving home, free from abuse and neglect.
Our main goal at Beating Hearts Rescue, is neonatal kitten rescue.. we have kittens that are brought to us anywhere from a couple hours old to a couple weeks old… I myself spend countless hours with my girls hand feeding, and raising abandoned feral kittens and providing around the clock care to these orphaned baby’s.. we provide these fur babies an opportunity to not live a feral kitten life once they have started to grow up and get stronger . If you don’t know much about feral cats just look at all the strays maybe in your neighborhood or someone else’s around you…. if you like cats or not, nobody wants to see a scrawny cat running around, sickly with sick kittens following.. just to end up making their home underneath your home or surrounding areas . I also work with local TNR programs in our community ( which the tnr program is a trap neuter and release program for for stray /feral outdoor cats) that’s where I in the girls get involved… trapping these unwanted animals getting them spayed, neutered shots and then releasing them back out to their colonies where they were previously living . these community cats now have a chance to survive with no extra worries of becoming pregnant with more unwanted litters or spreading deadly diseases because now they have their shots. I’ve seen a lot of neighborhoods overrun with feral cats and people not knowing where to turn and what to do with kittens they find the babies with no mothers because a lot of mothers end up being coyote food and that’s just unfortunately, but it’s the outcome for most feral cats.
There are statistics that show 75%of feral cats will not last a year, without some sort of human intervention and kindness … but with that percentage of feral cats not surviving you would think they were hardly any stray cats around unfortunately, one cat can produce in one year, more than 12 kittens yearly . now, if those kittens make it 4 to 6 months, they themselves will become parents of the next set of offspring and the cycle just goes on and on if we do not get involved. .. so this is where Beating Hearts Rescue has made a lot of sacrifices to stay involved with the well-being of the abandoned kittens and and treatment of all
we want to be part of the solution, and once a cat has been adopted from us, the cycle has ended.
… 99% of the kittens /cats we adopted out are bottle, fed babies. These babies have been brought to us from people in the Community and surrounding areas each and every baby is given the same opportunity for love and affection, medical, shelter and opportunity to be adopted out to a loving family to be called there furever family.
With the dreams and ambitions of one day not needing to rescue any longer bc people actually take care of there furry friends…
we’ll until this can become a reality for these abandoned, animals everyday expenses come 1st to keep this place going … ., lots of medical bills through the vet and just every day grind running a cat rescue the ends and out of running it all..food medical shelter ….
we are asking for your donations to help us keep open and keep these babies fed and healthy until they are adopted.. we also are looking to find more donations to help build on an outdoor area that will
be safe for the babies as they get older and , they want to explore.. and to help
with the quarantine of new babies and animals… so
without the help of our local community, we will not be where we are at today…
we have had over 31 kittens /cats adopted out since beginning of the year and we will continue to do this to the best of our capabilities each day knowing what we do affects every animal around us every day .. so we ask for your donation. Please understand every penny goes back into this rescue. Thank you for all your care and love your generous support of this local rescue. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns or if you like to donate [phone redacted]
