Help Dick Zigun get well and pay medical bills
Dick Zigun was getting ready to eat his sandwich as he fell and hit his face against the edge of a countertop, while he was trying to get a bottle of sparkling water from the refrigerator.
He sustained a massive traumatic injury his nose and the bones around the orbit of his eye is broken. He also received three severe cuts. The bottom eyelid of his right eye, the brow above his right eye and the bridge of his nose.
They began steroid therapy to reduce the swelling and scheduled surgery. His blood pressure was dangerously high.
The paramedics saved his life by giving him first aid and taking him to the emergency room at Coneyisland hospital where he was later transferred to Woodhaul hospital. Involving specialists and surgical team for the surgery.
Needed an ocular surgeon to stitch the lower eyelid, a specialist to exam and treat the nose fracture, a specialist to exam and treat the eye socket, cat scans where done, an ophthalmologist to assess damage to the eye itself,a reconstructive surgery for the damage of his face.
We have only just begun. But angered and frustrated because certain bills are being denied by his insurance company.
It is a huge burden to shoulder high deductible part of his bills.
Moreover he has no bargaining power to automatically change the figures.
Right now we need your help to raise money to settle part of the hospital bills. He would not be able to go back to work soon,thus he is going through financial difficulty.
Also stuck in the middle of other household bills and miscellaneous expenses.
You all who knows Dick,can acknowledge that he has been a very good friend. A humanistic individual concerned about the welfare of his community,friends and family.
A man who has advocated for organizations people and individuals, helping them be the best they could become which made their voice to be heard.
This is his own time of need.
