Amanda Pooler brings warmth and laughter with her smile and kind personality. She is loved by many people and she works very hard at her schooling and working as a Licensed Practicing Nurse with the elderly. Amanda has been dealing some serious health issues over the past 7 months. We have seen her transition from a very lively, friendly, energetic, and adventurous woman to someone being very exhausted, tired, and in much severe pain every day.
7 months ago Amanda began experiencing extreme fatigue and intense headaches daily. Since then her symptoms have escalated to resemble many stroke-like symptoms (numbness/tingling in limbs, sensitivity to light, partial loss of eyesight, intense pain throughout the head, neck, and spine). The results of an MRI revealed a pineal cyst growing in the center of her brain within the pineal gland. The pineal gland is a small gland directly in the center of the brain and is shaped like a tiny pine cone (hence its name).
We are raising money to send Amanda to the best doctors capable of such a specific and little-known condition, and to assit with her medical bills. We are having another meeting with the doctor very soon to see if brain surgery is an option for us. Updates soon to come.Thank you, thank you, thank you for your donations!!!
