AwesomeSomething is a unique, small family business with a focus on Geek Culture and Gaming opening up in the wonderful city of Anacortes, Washington!
This shop is our dream, we have wanted this our whole lives and now you can help this dream become a reality.
Our store goals:
-To bring geeks together.
-To create a friendly environment to play games.
-To bring you the best, most current, pop-culture apparel and toys for your purchasing needs.
-To introduce you to awesome games that you've never heard of before.
-To support Anacortes by being a fun, family owned, small business.
-To help charities that are near and dear to the gaming community.
We plan on selling pop-culture related apparel and toys. Our store will also have a large selection of collectible card games, board games, RPG games, and other miniature table top hobbies.
Our game room will provide our guests with a safe, welcoming location to play games, hold school club meetings, and host other community events.
We support the Geek community to the fullest extent possible! We want AwesomeSomething to become a unique second home for geeks of all kind to gather. It is our firm belief that absolutely everyone has a little bit of geek in them.
A little about the crew.
Lani is a Geek Mom with a weakness for Dungeons and Dragons. She has 15 years of retail and merchandising experience, as well as a BA in Art. Painting, costuming, and 27 years of overseeing kids and their games can also be added to her resume.
Kayleigh grew up watching Sailor Moon and Pokemon. She was in the Navy for seven years but decided she wanted to do something she really loves for a living. She loves drawing and is constantly working on her abilities. Her current specialty is customizing toy guns to make them awesome.
Corey
Started with the SNES and never looked back. Corey's childhood was dominated by board games, video games, and D&D. The past 5 years he has helped fund raise for ExtraLife. Decade of working customer service.
All donations are going toward expenses in opening the shop.
Every bit helps us open our doors earlier. It also helps towards increasing the technology and comfort of the store.

Rewards:
Level 1:
$10, a 4”x4” tile that will be used in a mural to decorate our shop. Show your support by getting your signature on it. See our picture for an example!

Level 2:
$35, you will receive an AwesomeSomething t-shirt, as well as the $10 personalized tile. T-Shirt sizes range from Small to Extra Large. (All previous level rewards included)

$50, a 6”x6” tile that will be used in a mural to decorate our shop. Show your support by signing your name or leaving a short message, or a shout out to your business. See our picture for an example!(All previous level rewards included)
Level 4:
$75, you will get a customized hand painted foam dart gun. These will be a limited edition fully functional work of art featuring our mascot and logo.
Level 5:
$500, We will immortalize you as a Superhero! Choose your abilities and be featured in original artwork, comic book style.
Level 6:
$2000, Come to the Dark Side; we have cookies. And Darth Vader. And you can have the coolest Star Wars birthday themed party in our Game Room. 1 Available
