Hi All.  I'm posting this on behalf of my sister Cassandra Swaing-Ballard.  She was just diagnosed with Infiltrating Ductal carcinoma Grade 3 Breast Cancer.  Right now her doctors want to move really fast with fighting this, but because of the type of Cancer she has she needs to start treatment as soon as possible.

She has medical insurance, but she has to pay the $7800 deductuble up front before the begin the treatment.  After that her insurance will cover everything, 100% of the treatment AND reconstruction after her treatment is complete.. 
 
You have to know Cassandra.  She is the most loving and compassionate person I know, a much better person that I could I ever be.  Our mother has been going through medical issues and Cassandra has taken on that burden 100%, driving her back and forth to the hospital, staying overnight with our mom in the hospital, taking off work and sacrificing everything to take care of her.
 
If you feel it placed on your heart, there is no required amount to give, any amount will help. It is hard enough to worry about having this disease, but it can be worse worrying about how to pay for treatment.
