We want a baby so we need some $$
This is my friend Cassie, her husband Ben and their daughter. My name is Juleigh and I'm only the most amazing friend in the world, not really I just want to help out Cassie and Ben as much as I can. They have been trying to have a baby for 5 years and have been told their only options are procedures that cost thousands of dollars which they don't have. I am trying to help them raise money so they can finally have another baby, and to be honest so I can hold it.....A LOT! So yes I have an ulterior motive. I know that everyone says that their friends are the best and blah blah blah but serious Cassie is pretty dang amazing. She is an air force wife so isn't lucky enough to have her husband around her all the time and has had to pick up and move several times and doesn't complain. What can I say, she's smitten with Benjamin :)
A little about Cassie.... She loves to sing and do theater, and she's good at it. Some people aren't, I'm just sayin! She likes to play raquetball in silly outfits, host game night, read, take pictures, do crafts, quote random movies and tv shows, be a nerd, make people laugh, give service to other people (I've been the recipient many times), play real life Mario-Kart but most importantly spend time and make memories with her family.
Now a little about Benjamin. Ben also likes to sing and do theatre, he just won second place in the Abilene Idol competition. He is a pilot in the air force. He likes to read, do whatever Cassie tells him to do (she's not bossy he just is willing to oblige to anything because he too is smitten), play World of Warcraft (actually they both do, their characters cuddle, isn't that cute), pretend he's serious when he's joking and then let you figure out if he's being serious or joking, but most importantly spend time with his family.
These are two of the best people I have met in my entire life. They are also great parents. Their daughter is so well rounded and well behaved. She wants a brother or sister soooooo bad too! She told her mom she didn't need to save up money for a DS and that she could have it to help her have a baby. What 6 year old says that? She's pretty amazing.
Cassie and Ben belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and extremely proud of it. They have strong testimonies of their Savior, Jesus Christ. Through out their infertility struggle they have really been able to rely on their Heavenly Father and His plan for them. They have been amazing throughout it even though there have been times they have just wanted to say "IT'S ENOUGH JUST LET US GET PREGNANT ALREADY!" they have never waivered in His love for them. I kind of feel like a proud parent telling you all about them but seriously they are that good, it kinda makes the rest of us feel inadequate or marvel at their amazingness!
They would really appreciate any help that can be given to them. If you can relate to them through religion, the air force, infertility or just plan liking to have fun then please do! I would love to see them be parents before they have to up and move again.
