SOS Eviction notice for 190 animals from a shelter

The Pinky Foundation is an animal shelter that offers refuge to 190 rescued animals from the streets of Barranquilla, and nearby areas in Colombia. The foundation has recently received an eviction notice from the landowner once the lease ends in 2021 and does not have the money to buy a new shelter at the moment. The proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to buy a new land so that these animals can have a secure place to live, it will also be used for the construction of proper structures, as well as moving expenses
.

We'd like to introduce  ourselves; we are Michelle Carranza and Andrea Trivino, we live in Montreal, Canada and became volunteers of the Pinky Foundation once we learnt about its current situation. We kindly ask you from the bottom of our hearts to help us support Pinky get the necessary funds to buy the perfect place for these rescue animals. PLEASE SHARE THIS CAMPAIGN WITH THE ANIMAL LOVERS YOU KNOW.

It all starts with a dream and a vision...
The money we are kindly asking for will be used for the following:

-  To Invest in the purchase of an easily accessible land capable of housing the 190 animals that currently live in the shelter (There's a piece of land available for 80 million Colombian pesos which is around $30,000 CAD that is perfect for the shelter, it has an area of 2000 square meters!)
-  The construction of closed cubicles or kennels that will be used as areas to house dogs and cats, especially for those that are very weak (babies, elderly, sick, etc.)
-  Travelling and moving expenses from the present animal refuge to the new one
-  Judicial paperwork

Currently, the Pinky Foundation is located in the city of Malambo in the department of Atlántico, in the north of Colombia in an area of approximately 2,500 square meters. With the help of donations and activities carried out by the animal refuge and its collaborators, 23 cubicles and kennels for dogs and cats have been built. Many of the activities that Pinky does to raise money have been heavily impacted due to the current situation the world is facing.

The founder and heart of the Pinky Foundation is Rosalba Carrillo
