For the past two decades CHARLIE has saved many cats AND dogs and has been exclusively funded by myself. I've always been reluctant to ask for money since there are so many other rescues all hoping for a piece of an ever shrinking pie. However I have reached a crossroads where NOT asking isnt an option any longer. For the second time in 2 years I am losing my job and my only source of funding FOR CHARLIE. Therefore, I am forced to ask, no beg for the kindness of others in this time of need to continue to be able to feed, house and medically care for the 25 cats in my care as well as the 7 colonies I work with. I know how difficult it is right now in the economy so I will be forever grateful for any amount of giving and sharing I can get from you good folks. CHARLIE IS a registered 501(c)3 so ANY gifts are tax deductible. I will be glad to provide donation receipts for anyone who needs it and WILL post ALL expenditure receipts on our Facebook pages for all to see. This money will ONLY go to the animals I care for.
