AfriKids Challenge

I'm heading to Ghana in Africa with colleagues from Allen & Overy to experience first hand the work being done by AfriKids to help struggling children there.  We've all agreed to pay our own expenses and raise as much money as we can to support their efforts.  Please support this organization and the impoverished children they're helping.

AfriKids' work ranges from traditional children's projects such as foster homes, schools and street child centers to more groundbreaking initiatives tackling complex cultural issues including child trafficking, child labor and the Spirit Child Phenomenon (the intentional killing of children believed to be carrying evil spirits).  To learn more about the organization, please visit www.afrikids.org.

My trip will include 3 days of visiting and helping with their established projects and 3 days in a remote village living in a mud hut with a host family.  I'll tell you more about it when I return in mid-October.  In the meantime, please help me achieve my fundraising goal and be a part of this exciting opportunity to give something back to people that need it most.
