Save Carol

My mother is an amazing woman. She is strong and beautiful and is a joy to be around. Her passion and zest for life is breathtaking. Growing up, she was my hero, my support system and my rock, my biggest fan and my best friend. I wish I could say my mother was invincible, but recent events have proved otherwise. On Friday, September 14th my mother went to the emergency room for shortness of breath. What started out as an average Friday morning ended in tears and heardache on my mother in our family. The emergency room doctors after much testing found several masses in my mother's body; one around her heart, one on her chest-plate, one on her kidney, and one on her liver. They did not scan the lower half of her body, but they believe she also has one in her uterus. My mother, like most in this country does not have health insurance and her medical bills are stacking up quickly. We are working hard to see an oncologist at MD Anderson Medical Center, but they are requring a large deposit before they will see her. If you can help my mother's cause it would be greatly appreciated. Any little bit helps. Thank you and please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers.
