Squeaky was my daughter’s first fury baby. We got him when she was 10. I first met Squeaky when he was 5 weeks old. One of my sweet clients, Joy’s cat Sunny, gave birth to a litter of cats and after nursing them for 8 weeks, Squeaky came home with us. Squeaky was part of our family for almost 17 years. Squeaky was a character. He was very unique. Most cats meow. Squeaky squeaked, hence his name. He was an alpha male, loved his food and our younger Cat Andrew.
Squeaky could pick a good person out of a bunch. He loved to sit on my guests' purses and shoes when they came over. As soon as we opened the door, he was always there to greet us, ready to beg for food. He always sat on my lap when I needed someone to lean on! He was an excellent companion.
Squeaky left behind his 10-year-old younger brother Andrew. I rescued Andrew when Squeaky was only 7 years old. The first 2 weeks after we brought Andrew home, Squeaky was not happy and didn’t eat for the first 5 days. I remember this like it was yesterday. But after that, they became best buddies. They bonded very well and lived 10 years like brothers.
Andrew is going to miss Squeaky. Alex and I will deeply miss Squeaky, he wasn’t just our fur baby, he was Family! Anything you can donate will Help Us with finalizing his cremation. Thank you for Reading! <3
