16 year old kicked by horse

This fundraiser is to help offset the expenses for Dalton, 16 year old Beaver County kid, injured Thursday night when a horse kicked him directly in the chest, causing traumatic cardiac arrest, cardiac tamponade, and dissection of the aorta. After initial treatment in Liberal, and evaluation of the risks and surgical needs, Dalton was flown early Friday morning to Wichita and taken directly to surgery, where they removed 300mL of fluid from around his heart and placed chest tubes. Today they will be further evaluating the aorta, and deciding the best course of action. Dalton is looking at being in Wichita for at least a week, and we would like to help cover the costs that will be incurred from both hospitals and travel, as Dalton and his family will be needing to take care of their family, farm animals, business, and medical needs in the coming weeks.
