Save Mr. Kong Dog

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this. I rescued my 6 year old Doberman 5 years ago in Southern Mississippi after hurricane Katrina 7 years ago. He was being taken to the Humane Society I worked at to be euthanized and I could not have it so I took him and flew him to Seattle with me. He has been my companion, family, protector, service dog and love for over 5 years now and his liver is failing and I can not afford any further testing or procedures. He will need Radio graphs, Ultrasounds, Several different tests and possibly multiple Biopsies of his liver to diagnose what is causing his liver to fail. I can not imagine a single day without him by my side, waking up with me, walking to work with me or even giving me Dobie kisses and it terrifies me to think of him dying like this. I feel very helpless and heart broken to know that his life may be coming to an end if I can not provide this treatment for him. Kong is a friend, family and lover to so many people and has changed what a lot of people think of the breed. He makes a difference in this world not only for myself but for so many others. He has also fostered over 50 dogs with me and I just don't know if I can go it all alone. Please open your heart to us and donate anything you can.
