Cambodia Missions Trip

Hi! My name is Maggy, and I'm raising support for my mission trip to Cambodia this spring. About 8 years ago, I attended a conference about human trafficking. Since then, I have been stirred to help women receive justice around the world. Over the last couple of years, the Lord has opened up many doors to serve and help women who work and have suffered in the sex industry and who have gone through human trafficking. Working with organizations like Fight for Freedom, I have been able to share God's love with women in the GTA, but have always felt called to broaden my horizons.

I am currently finishing my third year at Humber College where I am working on my Bachelor of International Development.  Part of the requirement of my program is to complete a 12-week internship, and an opportunity has opened up in Cambodia to work alongside a full-time missionary with the organization Crossworld. I will be working with a group called Daughters of Cambodia, helping girls heal from involvement with human trafficking and helping them get back on their feet through learning job skills.  I will also be helping with a group called Hope for Life that does community outreach by providing an after school program for children of impoverished families.  I am very excited.

I am raising the funds to pay for the cost of living overseas from April 26th to July 20th. This includes costs for room and board, airfare, emergency immunizations and training.
