<div>The 15 Mile Fund exists to ensure that professionals in the UK Film &amp; TV industry never need to turn down career opportunities because of the costs associated with getting to them.

<div>This new Fund is available to any member of Filmbase who may be thinking twice about taking up a career opportunity - such as a networking event, job interview, training course, or work experience placement - just because of the travel and/or accommodation costs involved ... no matter how senior or junior they are.

<li>petrol costs to drive to a training course in Pinewood Studios

<li>train fares to travel from Manchester to London for a networking event
</li>
<li>a night at in a B&amp;B because it's too late to travel home after an awards ceremony
</li>
<li>travel and accomm in Edinburgh for a work experience placement
</li>

<div>FUNDRAISING EVENT COMING THIS AUTUMN

<div>To raise money for The 15 Mile Fund, we will be holding a RACE AROUND LONDON fundraiser this autumn.
</div>

</div>
<div>Starting and finishing in central London, the Race is an orienteering treasure hunt challenge in which teams compete to collect as many points as possible within the time allowed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Using only public transport, they choose their own objectives and plot a route through the capital to maximise the points scored from a list of challenges and activities.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We ask that each participant raises or donates at least £30+ .... but the more they raise, the more likely they are to succeed in the Race!
</div>

</div>
